Ascot Design was instructed to create a new dwelling to replace the existing, on a site, located on a private estate on land classified as Green Belt. The existing house was only ten years old but it failed to maximise the potential of the land.
We added a significant amount of floor area and storey height to the accommodation, and repositioned the house to benefit from sunlight and unique characteristics the land provided. The internal layout was designed with its main living rooms on two levels above ground with an extensive basement area containing a wine cellar, swimming pool complex, gymnasium and staff accommodation.
The spacious and modern interior is combined with a traditional red brick exterior which features a central curved bay frontage and pillared portico. Together this created a stunning grand entrance to the property.
Inside, a key feature is the exceptional master suite equipped with facilities of the highest standard.
The finest materials were specified by the client throughout the design process, to achieve an unmistakably outstanding result.
