About This Project

“Ascot Design was chosen because of both their proven expertise in the design and follow through on new builds, but also because of their strong contact base in the area – specifically when it came to get planning permission and local approvals. The property clearly reflects our direction at the conceptual and design stages and we think the finished product speaks for itself. Thank you, Bernadette and Ascot Design”.

This property was designed for a family to replace an existing house on a restricted triangular-shaped site. A Tudor-style building was requested incorporating oak framing and decorative brick panels.

A lot of thought was given to the project to come up with the most effective solution for this complex plot. The scheme was well received by the planners and consent was obtained at the first attempt.

Ascot Design assisted the client throughout the design and construction process, working closely with them to ensure their dream home lived up to all their expectations.

Some of the special features included the use of reclaimed oak beams and hand-made bricks to add character and detailing. The interior of the property is light and airy and includes a magnificent feature oak staircase.
