In the last 2 years, an emphasis has been placed on recruiting architectural professionals with vast experience in master planning. This has enabled the extension of our high-quality service to those clients requiring multiple unit sites of 50-5,000 properties, including the associated commercial, retail, community and education requirements.

Four key individuals play a pivotal role in our master planning unit, supported by the rest of the Ascot Design team as and when required.
Steve Punter (Associate Architect) has over 20 years’ experience as a RIBA qualified Architect and Urban Designer,specialising in residential development, typically ranging in size from 25 -500 dwellings, and is adept at optimising existing consents to achieve an increased sales value.
Gareth McFadden (Associate Architect) boasts along track record of specialising in commercial workplace, leisure and education architectural design, including Ascot Design’s Bracknell Town FC Redevelopment master plan, a Weybridge mixed-use residential scheme comprising 200 residential units with extensive landscaped podiums and plazas, and a new duty free shopping area at Shanghai’s Hongqiao Int. Airport, amongst many others.
Winner of an MA Distinction for Urban Planning from Oxford Brookes University, Sophia Saatchi (Urban Designer) has over 2 years experience in master planning schemes of 200-5,000 units, having successfully facilitated the delivery of The Crown Estate’s master plan to deliver 2,500 new homes and a vibrant mixed use new community with 2.1m ft2of commercial development.
Chris Travell (Senior Design Manager) has over 17 years of residential design experience of multi-unit schemes ranging from 10-400 plots, and has worked with many of the major prestigious UK housing developers including Barratt Homes, Linden Homes, Crest Nicholson and more.
